HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – United States Sports University catcher Evan Jacob was named to the All-Ohio Valley League Team while playing for the Hoptown Hoppers.
 
Jacob batted .407 with four home runs, 37 hits and 24 RBIs while slugging .626 in the wooden-bat summer league as a designated hitter.
 
In the spring with USSU, the sophomore ranked second on the team with 12 doubles and five home runs. He ranked third with 44 hits, 38 RBIs and 71 total bases. The Chalmette, La., native also earned USCAA All-Academic honors.
