PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The United States Sports University baseball earned its first-ever ranking in the USCAA Baseball Poll, coming in at No. 8 in the first edition of the 2026 poll.
 
The ranking marks the first appearance for the Eagles in the poll in program history. USSU had a strong start to the season, splitting a road doubleheader at Dillard before winning its first two home series against Florida National and John Melvin University.
 
"It's really good to see that other people recognize the progress we've made in two short years," said head coach Michael Neal. "We hope that as we go, moving forward this second half of the season, we shoot up and end up in a much higher place down the stretch."
