NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Sports University baseball team will open the 2026 season on the road against Dillard on Tuesday.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The all-time series stands at an even 1-1 between the Eagles and Bleu Devils. USSU earned a 5-2 win in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. Dillard responded with a 14-2 victory in the second game of the doubleheader to even the series.
 
SCOUTING REPORT
Dillard comes into the series standing at 0-2. The Bleu Devils opened the season with a doubleheader on the road against Loyola (La.) and were swept by the Wolfpack.
 
ROAD EAGLES
The Eagles are no stranger to challenges on the road. During the inaugural season, USSU played 20 of its 37 games on the road. The Eagles have 26 road games scheduled throughout their 45-game season in year two.
