DAPHNE, Ala. – The United States Sports University baseball team will host John Melvin University in a four-game series at the Daphne Sports Complex starting Saturday.

FIRST-TIME FOES
The Millers and Eagles will meet for the first time ever on Saturday. The series marks the second time this season that USSU has played an opponent for the first time.
 
SCOUTING REPORT
John Melvin is off to a hot start this season coming in at 10-2 heading into the weekend series. The Millers have picked up series wins at LSU Alexandria, Lighthouse Christian and Our Lady of the Lake.
 
RAPID RECAP
The Eagles come into the home series on a two-game skid after getting swept in a midweek doubleheader by Southern University at New Orleans on Wednesday. USSU is 3-1 at home this season after winning the series against Florida National.
 
TEAM LEADERS
Dominick Hartman, who leads the team in home runs, has hit two homers in his last three games. Hartman and Braden Braud both lead the team with a four-game hitting streak.
