DAPHNE, Ala. – Following a successful 20-plus win inaugural campaign, the United States Sports University baseball team gears up for the 2026 season.

USSU will open the season on the road with a doubleheader against Dillard (La.) on February 10. The pair of games are scheduled to start at 12 p.m. (CT).

Head coach
Michael Neal led the Eagles to a 21-16 record in 2025. USSU started the season with five-straight wins, all of which came against NAIA programs.

Other highlights from the season included a 20-5 road win over Dallas Christian College, which marked the largest margin of victory, two series wins against Xavier (La.) and complete sweeps of three opponents (Lighthouse Christian, Oakwood, Tougaloo).

USSU returns top hitters including sophomore catcher
Evan Jacob (.429, 30 RBI), sophomore infielder
Dominick Hartman (.343, 8 HR, 29 RBI) and senior outfielder
Hayden Jones (.350, 22 RBI, 12 SB). On the mound, senior
Case Hager (2.61 ERA), junior
Ryan Carson (6-1, 38 SO) and sophomore
Giovanny Perez (4-0, 22 SO) all return for the Eagles.
