DALLAS, Texas – The United States Sports University baseball team rolled to a 14-4 win over Dallas Christian College on Monday.

The Eagles totaled a season-high 17 hits, producing runs in six different innings and breaking the game open with a six-run fifth.

USSU struck first in the opening frame on an RBI double by
Dominick Hartman, then added a run in the second on a passed ball. After extending the lead to 3-0 in the fourth on an RBI single by
Cory Parker, the Eagles erupted in the fifth.

Hartman led off the inning with a solo home run and
Alex Maguire followed later with a two-run single.
Napoleon Colston and
Evan Jacob each added RBI singles as USSU pushed the lead to 9-0.

Dallas Christian scored twice in the sixth, but the Eagles answered with two runs in the eighth and three more in the ninth.
Nate Perez delivered an RBI double,
Gabe Dexter added an RBI single and Maguire capped the scoring run with a sacrifice fly.

Maguire led the Eagles with a season-high three hits and four RBIs. Hartman added three hits, including a home run and two RBIs, while Colston, Parker and Jones each recorded two hits.

On the mound,
Morgan (Henry) Sauber earned the win, allowing two runs over six innings.
Giovanny Perez closed it out in relief, striking out a season-high four batters over the final three innings.
