Anthony Cinello Promoted to Associate Head Coach of Softball

DAPHNE, Ala. – United States Sports University Softball Head Softball Coach Morgan Cinello announced on Wednesday that Anthony Cinello has been promoted to Associate Head Coach.

"I am incredibly excited to announce Anthony Cinello's promotion to Associate Head Coach. As we enter our third year as a program, it is especially meaningful because we have built this softball program from the ground up together. His knowledge of the game, tireless work ethic, and passion for developing student-athletes have been instrumental in our growth and success," Cinello said.

"He has played a major role in our recruiting efforts throughout the Southeast and has built strong relationships with prospective student-athletes and their families. Beyond the field, he is a tremendous mentor and unwavering supporter of our female student-athletes, always prioritizing their growth both as players and as young women. Working alongside him every day has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue building the future of this program together. I also want to thank our athletic department and our President, Dr. Condon, for their support and belief in our vision. We are proud to represent United States Sports University as a family, and I truly believe the future of our softball program is incredibly bright with us leading it together. Go Lady Eagles!"

Cinello has played a crucial role in the startup of the Eagle Softball program since day one. In his time with the program, USSU has produced two USCAA All-Americans in Kassidy (Rowdy) New and Aralee Beene. The Eagles also notched their first win over an NCAA opponent and achieved their first national ranking in program history during the 2026 season.
