Morgan Cinello enters her third season as Head Softball Coach for the USSU Eagles.

Cinello guided the USSU Softball program to several historic achievements during the 2025 season. Under her leadership, Rowdy New and Aralee Beene became the first USCAA All-Americans in program history, with New earning Second Team honors and Beene receiving Honorable Mention recognition. The Eagles also produced 15 USCAA All-Academic honorees. Cinello guided USSU to its first top-10 national ranking in program history, with the Eagles remaining in the USCAA Top 10 for multiple weeks. On the field, USSU earned its first victory over an NCAA opponent with an 8-0 win against Augustana on March 24 and secured its first win over a nationally-ranked NAIA opponent with a 5-2 victory against No. 25 Faulkner on March 21.

Prior to USSU, Cinello served three seasons at Gulf Shores High School, where she was an assistant since 2021. Before her time at Gulf Shores, Cinello served in two stints at the University of Alabama as a graduate assistant and assistant coach. While there, the team went 188-55 and were named the SEC Regular Season Champions in 2019 and SEC Tournament Champions in 2021. The Crimson Tide made two super regional appearances and two College World Series appearances. Cinello worked for Wichita State University as their pitching coach for the 2020 season. 

In her collegiate career, Morgan played softball at the United States Military Academy before transferring to Hofstra University. While with West Point, Cinello was awarded Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year as a pitcher. The team was named the Patriots League Conference Champion in 2013. While at Hofstra, Morgan's success continued as the team won the Colonial Athletic Association Conference Championship in 2015.  

Cinello earned a bachelor's in finance from Hofstra University before earning her Master's in Sports Business Management from University of Alabama. Cinello resides in Gulf Shores, AL, with her husband Anthony, son Beau, and their dog Fenway.
