DAPHNE, Ala. – The No. 4 United States Sports University baseball team fell to John Melvin Christian College, 11-2, on Friday afternoon at the Daphne Sports Complex.

- John Melvin struck early with four runs in the first inning and added three more in the second to build a 7-1 advantage.
- The Eagles answered with a run in the first on an RBI fielder's choice by Dominick Hartman, scoring Alexander Maguire.
- John Melvin extended the lead in the fifth with a three-run inning, highlighted by a two-run home run.
- USSU plated its second run in the sixth as Hartman scored on an RBI groundout by Hayden Jones.
- The Eagles were limited to three hits on the day, with Maguire, Daniel Howell, and Kade Wall each recording one.
