Eagles Fall Twice in Road Doubleheader

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 4 United States Sports University baseball team dropped both games of a Tuesday doubleheader to Stillman, falling 9-8 in the opener before a 17-8 decision in game two.

Game 1 | Stillman 9, USSU 8
- The Eagles erupted for five runs in the first inning, highlighted by Chase Jones' two-run single and Hayden Jones' two-run triple to grab an early 5-0 lead.
- Stillman chipped away with runs in four innings and used a four-run sixth to take control.
- USSU finished with nine hits, led by Cory Parker's 3-for-4, two-run performance at the top of the lineup.
- Chase Jones (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Hayden Jones (1-for-2, 2 RBI, 3B, 2 BB) powered the offense.
- The Eagles added a run in the sixth and two in the seventh, bringing the tying run aboard before falling just short.

- Dominick Hartman contributed two hits, and the Eagles again finished with nine hits in the contest.
Stillman drew 12 walks and capitalized on four Eagle errors to pull away late.
