LAUREL, Miss. – Six Eagles delivered multi-hit performances to lead the No. 6 United States Sports University baseball team to a dominating 22-8 victory over Southeastern Baptist, clinching the series win Sunday.

After falling behind 4-0 in the first, the Eagles (19-14) responded with five runs in the second.
Dominick Hartman delivered a two-run double and
Cory Parker followed with a two-run single to give USSU a 5-4 lead.

USSU continued to build its advantage, adding a run in the third before breaking the game open with a seven-run fourth. Parker highlighted the inning with a two-run double, while
Alexander (Alex) Maguire and
Kade Wall each drove in runs as the lead grew to 13-4.

The Eagles erupted again in the fifth with nine runs. Maguire and Wall each delivered RBI hits and Daniell Howell capped the inning with a three-run home run to extend the lead to 22-6.

Howell led the Eagles with a season-high four RBIs and extended his reached base streak to a team-leading 20 games. Wall added a season-high four RBIs and scored three times, while Maguire drove in four runs.

On the mound,
Owen Guth earned the win, allowing six runs, three earned, over five innings with four strikeouts.
