USSU Track and Field Set to Host First Home Meet

MOBILE, Ala. – The United States Sports University track and field team is set to host its first home meet, the USSU Eagles Invitational, at Jaguar Track on Saturday.

RAPID RECAP
The United States Sports University track and field team continued its season at the Terry Long Florida State Relays, highlighted by multiple program records.
 
Hunter Hall led the Eagles in the field events, breaking the USSU program record in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.82m (143-9) to place 11th overall. Hall also recorded a discus throw of 42.95m (140-11), which was good for eighth place.
 
Shaterica Griffin continued her record-setting season on the women's side, breaking her own program record in the discus with a mark of 32.12m (105-4) and placed ninth.
 
On the track, Angelina Bercant set a new program record in the 100m, finishing in 12.96.
