TALLAHASEE, Fla. – The United States Sports University track and field team continued its season at the Terry Long Florida State Relays, highlighted by multiple program records.

Hunter Hall led the Eagles in the field events, breaking the USSU program record in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.82m (143-9) to place 11th overall. Hall also recorded a discus throw of 42.95m (140-11), which was good for eighth place.

Shaterica Griffin continued her record-setting season on the women's side, breaking her own program record in the discus with a mark of 32.12m (105-4) and placed ninth.

On the track,
Angelina Bercant set a new program record in the 100m, finishing in 12.96.
Â
Maryam Williams finished sixth in the 400m with a time of 1:03.18.
Â
The Eagles added performances in the throwing events, where
Jacob Hagan placed ninth in the discus with a throw of 38.32m (125-9).

In the shot put,
Deshaun Williams finished eighth with a mark of 13.40m (43-11.75), while
Jasper Nero placed ninth at 13.07m (42-10.75).

Nero also recorded a mark of 39.84m (130-8) in the hammer throw, while Hall added his record-setting performance to lead the group.

Christian Aikens placed 13
th in the 200m with a time of 21.86. He was followed by
Cole Hayward (22.36) in 21
st.

Tyler Johnson led the Eagles in the 400m with an 11
th-place finish in 50.88.
Daylon Lett (51.65) placed 13
th and
Devonte Cheffen finished just behind him in 14
th with a time of 51.70.

USSU will compete at the Southern Miss Invitational, which is schedule for April 3-4.
