MILTON, Fla. – The United States Sports University baseball team swept Saturday's doubleheader against Lighthouse Christian.

Game One | USSU 11, Lighthouse Christian 0 (6 Inn.)
USSU (13-11) broke through in the second inning with three runs.
Daniel Howell singled and later scored on an RBI single by
Kade Wall,
Napoleon Colston followed with an RBI single and
Cory Parker added an RBI fielder's choice to make it 3-0.

The Eagles added four runs in the fifth. Colston was hit by a pitch and scored on a triple by Parker,
Evan Jacob followed with an RBI single and Howell lifted a sacrifice fly. Later in the inning
Chase Jones scored on a wild pitch to extend the lead to 7-0.

USSU added four more in the sixth. Colston doubled and scored on a single by Jacob, Parker came home on a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded and two runs scored on wild pitches to make it 11-0.

Colston finished with a season-high three hits and two runs scored. Parker recorded his team-leading eighth multi-RBI game of the season while finishing with two RBIs. Jacob added two hits and two RBIs and Howell drove in two runs as USSU totaled 12 hits.

Deagan Dailey (2-2) earned the win, allowing three hits over five scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
Giovanny Perez worked a scoreless inning in relief.

Game Two | USSU 8, Lighthouse Christian 6
USSU struck first in the opening inning when Colston scored on an RBI single by Hartman to make it 1-0.
Â
The Eagles added two runs in the third.
Chase Jones singled home a run and
Hayden Jones followed with a sacrifice fly to extend the lead to 3-0.

USSU broke the game open with four runs in the fourth. Colston delivered an RBI single, Jacob added a sacrifice fly, Hartman doubled home a run and Howell followed with an RBI single to push the advantage to 7-0.

Lighthouse Christian answered with four runs in the bottom half, highlighted by a two-run single from Harelth Molina and an RBI double by Gavin DeRoche to cut the lead to 7-4.

The Makos added a run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly and another in the sixth on an RBI single by Jordan Luckie to make it 8-6.

The Eagles added an insurance run in the sixth when
Chase Jones singled to score Hartman.
Â
Hartman led the Eagles with three hits and two RBIs while Howell added two hits and an RBI.
Chase Jones finished with two hits and two RBIs and
Gabe Dexter added two hits as USSU totaled 12.

Morgan (Henry) Sauber (4-0) earned the win, allowing five runs, three earned, over four innings.
Jakson Stewart worked 1.2 innings in relief and
Victor Tyo recorded the final four outs to earn his third save of the season.
