Eagles Earn Hard-Fought Draw Against University of Mobile

Fairhope, AL - The USSU Eagles women's soccer team battled to a 0–0 draw against the University of Mobile Rams on Monday evening at Fairhope Soccer Complex. Despite the scoreless result, the Eagles showcased resilience and control throughout much of the match, keeping pressure on the Rams' defense and displaying strong organization in the back line.

USSU generated several promising opportunities, tallying nine total shots with three on target. Katherine Solis led the attack with four shots, including one that forced a tough save from the Rams' goalkeeper. Ambria Snell and Emma Deacon also contributed key attempts, each putting one shot on frame. Forward Ansley Warner remained active up top, working tirelessly to stretch Mobile's defense.

Goalkeeper Abby Bengtson anchored the back line with an outstanding performance, recording five saves and earning her third clean sheet of the season. Her composure and quick reflexes proved vital in keeping the Rams off the scoreboard.

The Eagles will now shift their focus to their next matchup, traveling to Talladega on October 22, where they'll look to build on their defensive momentum.
