Kelli Trautmann

Kelli Trautmann has been named the first Head Women's Volleyball Coach at The United States Sports Academy. Trautmann brings an impressive resume with over a decade of coaching experience at the high school, club, and collegiate levels, making her an exceptional addition to the Eagles athletic department.

Trautmann joins the Academy following a tenure as the Head Volleyball Coach at the University of Dallas where she led the program to historic milestones, including its best-ever Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) record. Under her leadership, the team achieved multiple tournament qualifications and earned numerous individual player accolades such as All-American selections, SCAC Freshman of the Year honors, and SCAC Fall Sportsmanship Awards. Her dedication to academic excellence was also evident, with 38 volleyball players named to the SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll during her tenure.

Throughout her career, Trautmann has demonstrated her expertise in coaching, recruiting, and player development. She has also held assistant coaching positions at Allegheny College, William Woods University, and Millsaps College, where she contributed to the growth and success of each program. Her extensive involvement in club volleyball further highlights her commitment to nurturing talent and advancing the sport.

A Wisconsin native, Trautmann's athletic career began as a defensive specialist/ libero and thrower at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she captained the volleyball team to four NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and a WIAC Conference Championship. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Physical Education, Health, and Recreation from UW-Whitewater, and a Master's in Athletic/Activities Administration from William Woods University.
