Bob Keller joins the coaching staff for the 2025–26 season as Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach. Keller brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of developing elite pitching talent at the collegiate and professional levels.
Before joining the Eagles, Keller served as Head Baseball Coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he led the Bulldogs to national prominence. Under his leadership, the team finished second in the MACCC in home runs and consistently ranked among the top pitching staffs in the conference. His pitchers led the MACCC in strikeout-to-walk ratio and were top contenders in ERA and total strikeouts.
Keller’s coaching career spans several NCAA Division I programs, including South Alabama, Michigan, Dallas Baptist, and Birmingham-Southern. His teams have won multiple conference championships and made deep postseason runs, including Super Regional appearances. He has coached numerous players who advanced to Major League Baseball, including Kevin Hill, Ben Taylor, Locke St. John, and Matt Peacock.
In addition to his collegiate success, Keller served as a scout for the Seattle Mariners and worked with Team USA in the Appalachian League, helping shape the next generation of elite pitchers.
A former two-way standout at Biola University, Keller was a two-time NCCAA All-American and still holds several school records. He holds degrees in physical education and kinesiology from Georgia State. Keller and his wife Jeannie have two sons, Charlie and Brady.
