JACKSON, Miss. – The United States Sports University volleyball team fell to Millsaps in straight sets, 25-11, 25-11, 25-10, at the Hangar Dome on Friday.

How it Happened
Millsaps (8-2) used a 10-point run to move from an 8-5 lead to 18-5 in the opening set. The Eagles (2-11) answered with three consecutive points to cut the margin to 23-11 before Millsaps closed the set.

Millsaps opened the second set with nine straight points and the third with a 4-0 run.

Hannah Gideon led the Eagles with seven kills and a .294 hitting percentage, while
Jursey Foote supplied 12 assists. USSU finished with 16 kills, 14 assists, 22 digs and two total blocks.

Millsaps recorded 35 kills, hit .388 and served 12 aces. Khloe Duncan led the Majors with 10 Kills and Zoë LaCaze totaled seven kills, six aces and three block assists.
