MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The United States Sports University volleyball team fell to Brewton-Parker and Brenau on the final day of the Brewton-Parker Invitational on Saturday.

Brewton-Parker 3, USSU 0
The Eagles (1-3) battled through the opening set before Brewton-Parker (3-1) pulled away late for a 25-18 victory. The Barons carried the momentum into the second set, taking it 25-8.

USSU responded with a competitive third set, but Brewton-Parker closed out the match with another 25-18 victory.

Brenau 3, USSU 0
USSU put up a fight against Brenau (4-0) but would ultimately fall 3-0.

In the first set, the Eagles put up a fight before Brenau pulled away for a 25-17 victory. The Tigers took the second set 25-15 and completed the sweep with another 25-15 win in the third.

USSU will travel for the Eagles Tri-Match to play Baptist University of Florida and Trinity College of Jacksonville on Friday.
