Raymond, MS – The Eagles women's soccer team fought with determination on the road Friday evening but fell 2–0 to Hinds Community College.

USSU worked to create attacking opportunities throughout the match, moving the ball into the final third and applying stretches of pressure, but could not find the finishing touch to break through.

In goal, Abby Bengtson delivered a standout performance, recording 18 saves over 90 minutes. Her composure and resilience anchored the Eagles' back line, keeping the team within striking distance despite sustained pressure from the hosts.

The Eagles continue their road stretch on Monday, September 8, when they travel to Montgomery, AL to face Faulkner University at 5:00 p.m.
