Daphne, AL — The United States Sports University Eagles women's soccer team extended their perfect start to the season with a 2–0 win over Faulkner University at the Fairhope Soccer Complex.

From kick-off, the Eagles exhibited control in all phases of the match, registering 27 total shots—12 on goal —while suppressing Faulkner to just 9 attempts, with only 4 on goal. USSU also capitalized on corner opportunities, earning six corners to Faulkner's three.

Ansley Warner delivered the pivotal opening goal at 13:27 of the first half, beautifully assisted by Asucena Magana, giving the Eagles an early advantage. Then, in the 75th minute, Emma Deacon struck for her first goal of the season, set up by a precise assist from Katherine Solis, doubling the margin and effectively sealing the victory.

Individually, Warner finished with six shots and two on goal, while Solis contributed a team-high seven shots, four of which were on goal, plus an assist. Deacon contributed with four shots, two on target, and the insurance goal for the Eagles. Magana made a notable offensive impact with her assist, and goalkeeper Abby Bengtson recorded a clean sheet, making four saves to preserve the shutout.
