Ty Turner joined the United States Sports University men's soccer coaching staff as the goalkeepers coach in 2026.

Turner spent five seasons as a goalkeeper at the University of Mobile from 2020-24. During his time with the Rams he served as a team captain and earned a list of honors including NAIA First Team All-American, SSAC First Team All-Conference, SSAC Golden Gloves, SSAC Champion of Character Award, SSAC All-Academic Team, SSAC All-Tournament Tea, multiple SSAC Defensive Player of the Week awards and a spot on the SSAC All-Freshman Team. He helped lead Mobile to two national runner-up finishes. A native of Daphne, Alabama, he played collegiately after graduating from Bayside Academy.

Away from USSU, Turner serves as the director of goalkeeping for Union 10 FC in Daphne, Alabama, where he oversees goalkeeper training and development while evaluating player progression. He also served as the goalkeeper coach at Saraland High School, leading training sessions for the boys' and girls' soccer programs during the 2026 season.

Turner earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from the University of Mobile in 2025 with supporting fields in biology and theological studies. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in exercise science at the University of South Alabama.
