Shealynn Miller is the Associate Director of Athletics for the United States Sports Academy. She oversees the baseball, softball, and women's volleyball programs. Miller has 10 years of experience working in youth sports, collegiate athletics, and minor league sports.
Miller comes to the Academy after serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications for Piedmont Volleyball Club in Greenboro, North Carolina. While there, she assisted with youth programming, tryouts and practice facilitation, tournament logistics, coach communication, social media, and website management.
Prior to her time at PVC, Miller was the Assistant Director of Athletics at Carolina University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from 2018 to 2021. At CU, Miller oversaw athletic marketing, game operations, fundraising, corporate sponsorship, the booster club, and facility renovations. Shealynn also served as the assistant volleyball coach for two seasons. In 2019, the team won a Regional Championship and competed in the national tournament. Miller earned the title of volunteer volleyball coach at High Point University for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. During the 2017 season, HPU went 16-0 in the Big South Conference and received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.Â
While in college, Miller spent time working at the College of Charleston, the Charleston Riverdogs, and the Charleston Battery.
As a player, Miller was recruited to play volleyball at Coker College in Hartsville, SC, and competed there for two seasons before transferring to High Point University. In her amateur athletic career, Miller played volleyball for Club Fusion and won an AAU National Championship in 2013.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Miller enjoys tennis, golf, reading, traveling, and fostering dogs.
