Cody Cleveland is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the USSA Eagles.
Cleveland is a dedicated strength and conditioning coach with a mission to help athletes achieve peak performance through sport-specific programming and personalized support. Previously serving as a Graduate Assistant of Strength and Conditioning Coach at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Cody oversaw strength and conditioning for the baseball program and assisted with football and track and field. Under his leadership, the baseball team achieved significant milestones, including a collective 780-pound increase in strength across key lifts, a 105-inch combined improvement in jump metrics, and a 5.85-second reduction in 30-yard sprint times.

Cleveland brings extensive expertise in performance technology, including EliteForm and Gymaware systems, which he utilizes for detailed athlete assessments, goal tracking, and performance analysis. Cleveland also did an internship with Premier Pitching Performance (P3) where he gained advanced knowledge in programming, mobility, and corrective strategies, supporting over 45 athletes with comprehensive pre- and post-testing evaluations.

As former collegiate baseball athlete, Cody earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, complementing his education with certifications such as NSCA-CSCS and CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. His background as an infielder at both the collegiate and community college levels fuels his passion for mentoring athletes to succeed both on and off the field.

Cody Cleveland is committed to fostering strong relationships with athletes and empowering them to unlock their full potential.
