Nolan Kotila joins the United States Sports University athletic department staff and serves as the primary contact for all of the department's varsity teams.
Prior to USSU, Kotila served as the Sports Information Director at Spring Hill College starting in 2022. In 2024, he was awarded the Spring Hill College "Spirit of Spring Hill" award in recognition of embodying the mission and identity of the college.
Kotila started his career as a Communications and Digital Media Assistant at the University of South Alabama, where he served as the primary contact for the track and field, women’s soccer and men’s golf teams. While at USA, he was featured in an article published in CoSIDA 360.

He was a student assistant in South’s Communications and Digital Media department while completing his undergraduate degree. His duties included assisting the communications staff with the coverage of all Jaguar athletic programs.

Kotila graduated from South Alabama in 2021 with a B.A. in Communications. He is an active member of College Sports Communicators (CSC) (formerly CoSIDA).
