HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The United States Sports University men's soccer team went on the road and shut out Oakwood 6-0 at University Field on Friday.

Asher Nelson opened scoring and was assisted by
David Huguley in the 16
th minute, giving the Eagles (4-2-2, 1-1-0 CAC) an early 1-0 lead.

Freshman goalkeeper
Miggy Becerra cleared the ball to
Camrin Pearson, who scored in the 22
nd minute and extended USSU's lead to 2-0.

Becerra became the first goalkeeper in program history to score a goal in the 37
th minute. His free kick goal boosted the Eagles ahead, 3-0.

Nathan Webb connected with
Adrian Pearson in the 70
th minute, stacking a 4-0 lead for USSU.

Daniel Huguley scored in the 84
th minute, assisted by
Grant Vickers. Pearson closed out scoring at 6-0 in the 86
th minute off

Match Notes
- The Eagles held a 21-5 advantage in shots and a 15-4 edge in shots on goal.
- USSU took 12 corner kicks, while the Ambassadors took only two.
- Oakwood was whistled for nine fouls while the Eagles committed just four.

- USSU matched its season-high six goals in a single match.
- Becerra earned his second career shutout while recording his first career goal and assist.
