Morgan Cinello

Morgan Cinello was named the Eagles inaugural Head Softball Coach on January 1, 2024 following three seasons at Gulf Shores High School, where she was an assistant since 2021. Before her time at Gulf Shores, Cinello served in two stints at the University of Alabama as a graduate assistant and assistant coach. While there, the team went 188-55 and were named the SEC Regular Season Champions in 2019 and SEC Tournament Champions in 2021. The Crimson Tide made two super regional appearances and two College World Series appearances. Cinello worked for Wichita State University as their pitching coach for the 2020 season. 

In her collegiate career, Morgan played softball at The United States Military Academy before transferring to Hofstra University. While with West Point, Cinello was awarded Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year as a pitcher. The team was named the Patriots League Conference Champion in 2013. While at Hofstra, Morgan's success continued as the team won the Colonial Athletic Association Conference Championship in 2015.  

Cinello earned a bachelor's in finance from Hofstra University before earning her Master's in Sports Business Management from University of Alabama. Cinello now resides in Gulf Shores,, Ala., with her husband Anthony and son Beau.
