DAPHNE, Ala. – The United States Sports University softball team swept its regular-season finale doubleheader against Baptist University of Florida on Thursday, starting with an 11-2 win in game one before a 9-5 victory.

- The Eagles used five runs in the first two innings and a six-run sixth to pull away for the win.
- USSU totaled 10 hits and did not commit an error in the contest.

Ahlexus Lackey led the offense, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.

Aralee Beene scored three runs and added two hits and two RBI, while
Kassidy (Rowdy) New contributed two hits and two RBI.

Desiree Denmark and
Morgan Courtney each recorded multi-hit efforts.

Breana Barnes (9-11) earned the win with her 13
th complete game of the season, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out four.

- The Eagles responded after an early 2-0 deficit, scoring in five consecutive innings to secure the win.
- USSU finished with 12 hits, led by New's 4-for-5, two double and three RBI performance.

Isabelle Calagaz added three hits and an RBI, while Lackey went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Sydney Taylor contributed a double and an RBI, and
Anna Claire Fleming added an RBI single.

Ryleigh Merritt (8-8) earned the win, allowing five runs over six innings with four strikeouts, while
McKynzi Dawson tossed a scoreless seventh.
- The Eagles took advantage of three Baptist errors and drew seven walks in the victory.
